This guy Carney is not so bad…
Economists are lining up to take their shots at Carney these days, for being overly optimistic. This coming from the bunch who missed calling the recession and resulting housing collapse.
I loved his line, “we don’t do optimism, we don’t do pessimism, we do realism, at The Bank of Canada.”
Thanks mark for standing up and taking risks, previous people in your role either didn’t have to or weren’t willing to. Inore the naysayers.
Continue to be real.
